University Club Golf Course Renovation

In 2010, TAF donors provided the funding to renovate the University Club Golf Course.  The updates made the course more challenging and paved the way for attracting championship level events to the Baton Rouge area.

Challenging Course Design

The lake areas were increased by 110,000 cubic yards in total and more than 500 trees were added throughout the course to provide a challenging test of golf for anyone playing the University Club.

Front of University Club

It came to our attention that the UC golf course needed some upgrading in order to better prepare young golfers for competitive golf. Mary and I are blessed to have been able to help with that project. To think that we, in some small way, could help improve things for our student athletes is quite gratifying.
