Thanksgiving Challenge


                      LSU’s Tiger Athletic Foundation Kicks Off Fundraising Challenge November 24

BATON ROUGE, LA- Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) kicks off a fundraising challenge against Texas A&M’s 12th Man Foundation on Sunday, November 24.  The face-off, called the Thanksgiving Challenge, is a collaboration between TAF and the 12th Man Foundation to raise funds for their respective athletic departments leading up to the on field match up on Saturday, November 30.  
The Thanksgiving Challenge, will open at midnight November 24 and close at 11:59pm November 30.  The team with the most donors will win the challenge.  Fans are encouraged to make a gift of any size to help beat the Aggies off the field.

“TAF donors play a vital role in supporting LSU student-athletes.  We are excited to engage Tiger fans around the country in the Thanksgiving Challenge. We need their support to beat the Aggies on and off the field,” shared Chrislyn Maher, TAF Director of Marketing and Communications. 
Donations made through the Thanksgiving Challenge will benefit TAF’s Team TAF Annual Fund.  The annual fund supports all 21 varsity sports of LSU Athletics ensuring that LSU student-athletes have the tools to succeed in the classroom, on the field, and in life.  To learn more about Team TAF and TAF membership, visit lsutaf.org.
