TAF President’s Cup Golf Tournament Raises Funds for LSU Golf Teams

BATON ROUGE, LA - On Friday, October 12, 2018, Tiger Athletic Foundation held its 20th Annual TAF President’s Cup Championship at the University Club Golf Course.  This tournament is held each year to raise money in support of the LSU Men’s and Women’s golf programs.  This year, twenty-three teams teed-up to support LSU student-athletes.

The TAF President’s Cup was sponsored by Cox Communications with additional donations provided by Baton Rouge Coca Cola, Superior Grill, Walk-On’s, Mike Anderson’s, Sammy’s Grill, Creole Cabana and Gerry Lane Chevrolet.  With the support of the University Club, the contributions of these supporters and the participation of the twenty-three teams, TAF raised over $44,000 for the golf programs.  This money will be divided equally between the Men’s and Women’s programs and will go a long way to ensure that the teams continue to compete at a championship level.

The winner of this year’s President’s Cup is Team Graham.  They were recognized prior to the LSU vs. Georgia game.  Pictured (left to right) is Larry Graham, Michael Graham, Alex Ginn, Michael Lutgring.  Not pictured from Team Graham is Mike Ginn.
