Netterville Leads TAF Board of Directors in 2018

BATON ROUGE, LA- (February 2, 2018) Tiger Athletic Foundation (TAF) began the new year by welcoming the members of its 2017-2018 Executive Committee and its officers. 

The Board of Directors is led by Jake Netterville, Chairman of the Board.   Netterville, the Director of Postlethwaite & Netterville accounting firm, graduated from LSU with a B.S. degree in Accounting.  In 2001, he was inducted into the E.J. Ourso College of Business Hall of Distinction.  Netterville previously served as a member of the TAF Board of Directors and Executive Committee.  He also served as TAF’s Treasurer from 2013-2014.

Other officers include the following:

Brian P. Cheramie of Golden Meadow, Chairman of the Board-Elect E. Robert "Bobby" Theriot of Houston, TX, Immediate Past Chairman of the Board R. Craig Rathjen of Houston TX, Treasurer Todd Schexnayder of Baton Rouge, Secretary

 “The sheer size and scope of the LSU Athletic program means that every year brings new opportunities and challenges for TAF to provide our student-athletes with the resources to continue to achieve success and compete at the very highest level.  The efforts and leadership provided by the officers and members of the TAF Board of Directors has been critical to the success of the organization through the years,” stated Rick Perry, President and CEO of Tiger Athletic Foundation.

For over 30 years, Tiger Athletic Foundation has supported LSU Athletics.  The officers and Board of Directors look forward to continuing the work that impacts the lives of LSU student-athletes in the classroom, in competition, and in life.  TAF’s fundraising efforts for 2018 will include completing fundraising for the renovation of the LSU Football Operations Facility, including the construction of the Tiger Athletic Nutrition Center, and construction of a weight training facility at Alex Box Stadium.  Efforts will also continue to raise funds for the endowed scholarship fund for student-athletes.
