The Preservation of Tiger Stadium
Phase I: Completed
![]() |
Prior to the 2010 football season we embarked on a campaign to raise funds to replace 429 windows in the north end of Tiger Stadium, the beginning of a beautification project to enhance North Stadium Drive and Preserve Tiger Stadium. |
| Tiger Stadium is one of the most iconic venues in all of college sports, and it is has even more meaning for LSU fans around the world. The memories that have been created in Death Valley are precious ones and it is vitally important that we maintain and enhance this 86-year-old home of the Tigers. |

Phase II
Tiger Stadium is a historical symbol of LSU Athletics and the more than 90,000 fans that fill the stands each time the Tigers take the field. That is exactly why the Tiger Athletic Foundation has focused on making Tiger Stadium the best stadium in all of college football. We are currently working on a project to enhance the exterior of Tiger Stadium. This will involve replacing gates, repaving the walk ways, adding monoliths and other significant improvements to the stadium’s visual appeal.
This update to Tiger Stadium will maintain the great look and feel of Tiger Stadium while preserving the facility in a way that allows it to continue to function for years to come. Please check back soon for a full detailed description of all that is planned for the Phase II project of the Preservation of Tiger Stadium campaign.
