Athletic Training Center*
LSU recently completed construction of the new Center for Athletic Training. The 23,000 square-foot, multi-level training facility puts LSU among the finest in the nation in athletic training.
The Center for Athletic Training enables LSU to regain its position as the SEC's leader in athletic training which it enjoyed for several decades when Dr. Marty Broussard served as head trainer. In Dr. Broussard's honor, the new facility is named the Dr. Martin J. Broussard Center for Athletic Training. Focused on aggressive rehabilitation, the new facility is furnished with the latest in technology and equipment. Some distinguishing features of the training facility include a large aquatic rehab area, an on-site x-ray facility, a networked computer system featuring the latest in medical record keeping and injury tracking, physician examination rooms and a pharmacy.
